Play with Clay: Holiday Ornaments 7-9pm (BYOB)
On Friday, November 22, 2024, our instructor Lauren Haskell will lead up to 10 participants for a 2-hour hand-building class in our studio. This is the perfect class if you have ever wanted to try working with clay.
This class is designed for adults.
In this class, we will make holiday ornaments using stoneware clay. Lauren will demonstrate how to roll out the slabs, carefully cut out the ornaments so that the edges are perfect, and paint them using underglazes.
Come on your own or with a group of friends. Please feel free to bring soda, wine, water, cocktails, or beer with you (picnic style).
We do not have a refrigerator on site, so bring a small cooler if you prefer cold beverages. Please arrive 5 minutes before class.
At the end of the session, you will choose your six favorite pieces that will be bisque, glazed (transparent), and fired. Clay and firing are included in the price. Your pieces will be ready to be picked up within three weeks.
